As of Monday 13th July we will commence our Term 3 Learn to Swim Program. We will be facilitating lessons for all levels: Babies, Pre-School, School-Age, Adult and Advanced Swim Squads. We will be facilitating lessons in the NEW 25 metre pool and existing pool.
Babies classes will be facilitated Mon – Fri AM and Saturday.
Pre-School classes (2 and half years and up) will be facilitated Mon -Fri AM, FRI PM and Saturday.
School-Age classes will be facilitated Mon – Fri PM and Saturday
Advanced Swim Squads will be facilitated Mon PM, Wed PM, Thursday PM & Sat AM
Due to social distancing measures from the Government (Department Health & Human Services) and guidelines from Life Saving Australia our program may continue to look a little different. At this stage we know our swim instructors will be returning to the water. Throughout the term the program will constantly evolve as restrictions lift in response to COVID-19.
To ensure all patrons and staff are safe we have developed a Leopold Swim School COVID-19 Safety Plan (link below). The plan outlines what we will be doing to keep you safe and what you need to do to stay safe. In the plan it outlines our SWIM n GO principal in detail and our request for only 1 guardian to enter the centre to accompany swimmer/s. These measures will ensure we continue to meet evolving social distancing laws.
We request:
- all Learn to Swim participants are to be supported by only 1 guardian in the centre.
- that your swimmer is ready to swim immediately with bathers, cap and goggles on and that they bring minimal belongings.
- that your swimmer wears a hoodie towel, dressing gown, jacket and footwear to place on immediately after their lesson. At this stage our change room facilities will not be open (toilets still available). This may change during the term as restrictions lift.
- that swimmer/s not arrive more than 2 minutes early for their designated lesson.

All staff members have been instructed to complete the Infection Control Training COVID-19 developed by the Department Of Health.

Please note:
All returning swim school participants for Term 3 must complete a re-enrolment form on our website or via the Leopold Swim School App.
All previous payments received for Term 2 will be honoured for this program as well as lessons owed due to early closure of centre in Term 1. If you choose not to participate in Term 3 your previous payments will be carried over to Term 4.

Debit Debit memberships will be re-activated if we receive a Re-Enrolment Form for your swimmer/s. The one-off Re-enrolment Form will highlight your intention to recommence your membership. If you do not complete a Re-Enrolment Form we will assume you are not yet ready to recommence your membership and direct debit payments will not be reactivated.

Allocated lesson times for Term 3 may differ to previous times, due to the enforced restriction of numbers in the centre at any one time. We will do our very best to accommodate as many as we can.
